Variation zu einem Bild im Teesaal von Schloss Elmau
 

Im Teesaal des Hotels Schloss Elmau schmückten schon seit vielen Jahren eine Reihe stilgleicher, sehr schöner
Bilder zwei Wände. Der Maler, Adolph Hildebrand, war seinerzeit Hofmaler von Prinzregent Ludwig gewesen.
Vor wenigen Jahren kam dann der schreckliche Brand des Schlosses, bei dem der Teesaal von Wasserschäden schwer
mitgenommen wurde. Ich war froh, ein Foto wenigstens von einem dieser Bilder bekommen zu haben, und malte es,
so gut ich konnte, ab. Ich fügte dem Bilde lediglich ein kleines Vögelchen hinzu, um es als Kopie zu markieren. -
Glücklicherweise hängen inzwischen alle Bilder, wenn auch mit geringen Wasserflecken, wieder an ihrem alten Platz
- auch das Original dieses Bildes.

The tea room of the hotel Schloss Elmau for many years adorned the same style a row, very nice
pictures two walls. The painter,Adolph Hildebrand had been at his time court painter to Prince Regent Ludwig .
- A few years ago then came the terrible fire of the castle, where the tea room by water damage difficult
was taken away. I was glad to have gotten a photo of at least one of these images, and painted it,
as best I was able to do that. To mark that it is a copy, I added only a little bird, -Fortunately, now there are
hanging all the pictures, albeit with low water marks, again at their old places - also the original of this image.
